How should thermal conductive silicone grease be applied? ?
1. On the premise that the gap between CPU / GPU radiator surface can be filled, the thinner the conductive silicone layer is, the better.
2. There is a very standard way to apply thermal conductive silicone grease, but there is a rule that the key to coating is to be uniform, bubble free, impurity free as thin as possible.
Now there are two main ways to apply it:
1. It is to squeeze a little silicone grease on the surface center of CPU / GPU, then squeeze the silicone grease evenly by the pressure of radiator;
2. It is to evenly apply silicone grease on the surface of CPU / GPU, etc.
Obviously, one method is suitable for heat source with small surface area, the second method is more suitable for CPU / GPU with large surface area, such as Intel Core 2 series processor. However, the second method is easy to get impurities generate bubbles when daubing. Many thermal conductive silicone grease products are attached with scraper rubber sleeve to facilitate daubing.
